What do Brazilian households reveal about our consumption?
Insight
Our analysis cut-off set out to investigate households of new social and familial arrangements of the home such as LGBTQIA+ couples, group homes, singles, and solo mothers. By assembling an imagery dossier that numbers 5,000 images, we were able to reveal elements of the home as a response to social tensions and the quest for identity role affirmation.

Impact
It is symptomatic that consumption is such a fundamental tonic in Brazilian society, marked by inequality. While in Sweden, for example, homes are more homogeneous, in Brazil, homes are full of elements that mark differences. Based on our study, it is possible to address different business issues and solve dilemmas of product, price and positioning.
